Within the framework of the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit, the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfMS), the United Nations One Planet Network’s Sustainable Food Systems Programme (OPN-SFSP), and the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) Foundation have come together to co-organise two Independent Food Systems Summit Dialogues on “Pathways for the future of Sustainable Food Systems in the Mediterranean”.

The second “SFS-MED” Independent Food Systems Summit Dialogue will take place on Monday, 21 June 2021 from 14:30 to 18:00 (CET). Building on the findings of the 1st SFS-MED Dialogue held on 27 April, this second will foster inclusive discussions to identify common pathways for sustainable food systems in the Mediterranean, supporting their transformation and ultimately advancing progress on the 2030 Agenda in the region.

The provisional agenda of the Dialogue is available at this LINK , while further information can be found on the Summit Dialogues Gateway at this LINK.

In order to attend the Dialogue, you can register at HERE: you will receive an email with the connection details (Zoom direct link) a couple of days before the event. Kindly note that the link you will receive is personal and should not be shared.

The deadline for registration is Wednesday 16 June 2021.

The event will be live-streamed publicly on UfM Secretariat’s YouTube channel.
