According to an article on agroberichtenbuitenland.nl, organic farming in Poland is reviving after the downtime at the start of the Covid pandemic. This is the result of the popularization and greater availability of bio products, combined with the growing awareness of the need for systemic support for organic farmers.

In 2021, organic farms in Poland already amounted to 5% of the entire agricultural area (compared to 3.5% one year before), and the number of farms approached 20,000, which means an increase of 7.6% year on year.

Recent data from the Central Statistical Office shows that in 2021, the number of organic farms (including in the conversion period and with a certificate) in Poland was approximately 20,000. That's 7.6% more compared to 2020 when there were 18,600. During the year, the surface of land designated for organic farming in Poland also increased significantly. In 2020, it amounted to 509,000 ha, and in 2021 it increased by 40,000 ha (by 7.9%) to the level of 549 thousand ha. This means that the share of land intended for "bio" cultivation in the entire agricultural area in Poland increased from 3.5% up to 5%.
