SINAB has published a new report on the organic wine sector. The publication, in Italian, provides all the numbers of the sector: surfaces, farms, wineries and Italian production, but also an overview of consumption trends and the choices that reward national production. There is also an in-depth look at the key issues in the sector, from research to the challenge of residues and the new CAP.

90 pages to reason and plan the prospects of the organic wine sector so full of potential upstream and downstream of the supply chain.

Italy is on the podium together with Spain and France in terms of organic vine surface in the world, with 18.8% of organic vineyards and a surface of over 100 thousand hectares, more than doubled since 2009. At the 2020-2021 campaign the organic certified wineries were 2,139.
