The historic exhibition of natural wines held at Fornovo Taro (Parma) since12 years, this year steps out from its borders and gets off in Milan and Rome. On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 February, from 12.00 am to 8.00 pm, the Cascina Cuccagna (via Cuccagna 2/4, Milan) will host the first "Milanese" edition , while the Città dell’Altra Economia (Largo Dino Frisullo, Rome) will host the edition in the Italian capital.
The exhibition is a real opportunity to learn about and taste unique and evocative wines, produced respecting land and grapes, with a view to meeting the different cultural and social identities through the agro-food regional traditions. Over fifty winemakers from almost all Italian regions will tell, through their wines, their choice to work with nature in the vineyard and in the cellar. The exhibition will also host a Slovenian winemaker and a booth of small French wineries. The program there includes tastings and meetings for traders, connoisseurs, enthusiasts and curious. The wines on display will be available for sale, to give everyone the opportunity to continue the tasting even from home. As a surplus value, the event will also include some publishers: they will present publications related to the themes of viticulture.
For all wine lovers, "Wines of Winemakers” is an event not to be missed. As Christine Marzani - founder of "Wines of Winemakers” - recalls, thinking back to the origin of the event, "... our ideal was to create a link among winemakers of different countries, so to abolish respective borders. The exhibition should have been a place enriched by the diversity of each individual".
